i was thinking of doing that for some stuff anyways. eventually we intend to sync both gameboys(through an old-school DMG multitap) to one of those nifty midi>gameboy link units, like the one leeni has. but for now we were going to sample the gameboy stuff onto the laptop, and then dub in drums, samples and such for certain songs. we'll do quite a bit of stuff with just two gameboys, and a mini-mixer with the EQ cranked before that though. my main complaint about LSDJ so far is the lack of really low bass especially for the drum tracks, and even the noise channel. there's just no good way to get a really good kick out of it without crazy EQ.

That's part of the fun of LSDJ is learning to work around it.

You can push out a lot of bass in the wav channel Dylan. Every try that? Still not enough!? I myself didn't like how low the pitch could go on LSDJ at first either. Used to it now But it's dumb how extremely high the pitch can get as to how low it can barely go.

i still haven't figured out how to make stuff in the wav channel that doesn't have slight static on it hell, even my drums have random cutting in and out static.. maybe it's my dmg?

Yes Gabe. Because Tony is the only other electronic musician in the world who owns a circuit bent Speak & Spell.

Since it's so awesome that I don't think it should be kept secret, I figured I would share my little goldmine for LSDJ Remix fodder Megaman Background Music!I actually just finished a remix of Shadowman's stage music. The songs aren't super powerful but they definitely have the potential to be. And for something so simplistic-sounding, a lot of the songs have a part or two with some pretty fancy programming moves (not that they made these in LSDJ, but I bet it was still hard). I also think it's worth mentioning my favorite Megaman 7 song, and maybe the best 16-bit megaman song there is.
