gah! im so tired of using my Color. dylan and i have been in the process of back light modding and pro-sounding out DMGs, and we seem to be having technical difficulties. its taking way too long!
has anyone else tried modding their DMG for themselves besides us and Evan?
if anyone did a back light mod can you tell us if the polarizing film thing is a crucial component. we think that might be our problem.

we got the pro sound part figured out fairly easily, it's just the screen backlighting that's the problem.

so i have been looking for somewhere to buy a Gameboy to Midi thingy, and i was wondering if anybody knew how to get one. theres a couple things online about making your own, but im tired of things going wrong whenever i try and do it myself. so yeah, before i spend the next 4 hours browsing Google for somewhere to get one, i figured id ask here first.

i guess they pop on ebay every now and again. but they go for more like 300$, at least the ones i have seen.
