okay that makes a little more sense aaron. so v1 was all emx., v2 was all lsdj. will v3 be emx+lsdj!? If "chrance" is chiptune+trance, then an emx+lsdj team-up makes perfect sense! ;D True Gabe. To be honest, neither the first or second EP fully fit my definition of "chrance" music. Chrance EP v1 is trance without the chip (even though it sounds like there's chiptune) while Chrance EP v2 is chip without the trance (even though the music has inspired trance melodies, but doesn't have that distinctive unison sawtooth sound that trance is known for)! Chrance EP v.3 would could be 100% "chrance" if I combined the two sound modules, but that's gross. I don't know if I'll do that yet:P

haha its funny you reviewed a show that you were only there for half of! the review makes it sound like no one was dancing up until fighter x (am i wrong?). leeni's music is probably too slow to dance to so its not much of a surprise that no one was "hoping around like the mario bros". thats also disturbing that you tried to dance with the bunny-man butcher Hey, any review is better than no review. (like good press/bad press)I really encourage you all to get signed up at nwtekno. It is a great marketing tool. I can't count how many times I've been in the city with friends trying to decide what to do and we go to the computer to check that site. hundreds? and though much is centered in Seattle they do post outdoor parties hundreds of miles away in the woods, and there is a growing population on nwtekno from n. of Seattle. So, 45 people viewed my thread, but no replies. I wasn't trying to sound critical; actually I was asking you all a few questions since I'm a newbie to this particular genre, other than hearing Gabe and Aaron for years. I really want some answers!? I wasn't making definitive statements. Hope it didn't sound that way. And I said from the getgo on the review that I made it after kghb finished. And, now that I'm asking questions.... Do you call yourselves bands, acts, producers, musicians, artists, moonwalkers, stiltwalkers and tightropewalkers, etc. etc. and so forth? I mean each of you individually? I see the word "band" used a lot on this site. Just curious. xo, Heide

moonwalkers..?
KGHB is a two-person band. I often refer to solo gigs as "artists" but that can be a little vague so I will also call a solo musician a band for the sake of clarity. I guess technically, "band" refers to more than one person, but if you call a solo artist a band, everyone still knows exactly what you're talking about and no one questions it.

heh well alright then. Maybe I'll come out with a free EP of all classic FX tracks remixed with LSDJ. May be pretty easyy!! very yes also, i still think emx+lsdj is a great idea. take advantage of the tech you have to get the best sound possible!
