Well I would think you would buy the carts from him (assuming you can't really find them anywhere else) at a discounted price, but something that's still a certain amount of profit to him (~$25?), and then sell them on CrunchyCo for the same $40 he does.

You could host his site here in exchange for a small amount of his profits. Then if you used CrunchyCo as a vehicle to advertise nonfinite's work more, you might be able to attract a bigger crowd and ultimately be able to lower the price while still making the same amount.
I guess it would be like hiring him.

i wasn't even suggesting you sell them for cheaper than nonfinite. nonfinites price is already GREAT, and as cheap as the official lsdj carts long ago were(apparently, multiple people have told me this).
the price is already low enough to make 8bp and such look like assholes. all you need is something on the product page that links to his site, so you actually buy it from his site even. just advertise it here basically is what i was suggesting.

he does seem to be in a crunch. my lsdj carts and parts showed up today(he DID automatically combine shipping), even though i had just received a message from him a day earlier saying he was waiting for non-defective smartcarts to arrive o_0
either way, i have lsdj now. now it's time to sit down and figure this out...

That's great to hear Dylan! Maybe you can teach me a few things soon? In any case you're more than welcome to get in on some Lo-Tek shows when you're ready

some guy at Pink Godzilla the other day was purchasing Korg DS the other day. One guy that saw you guys outside PAX though you were using it. haha. What are you chiptunist's opinions on that thang? Is it just a bunch of user friendly garbage or can you actually make serious music with it?

I don't know much about it really. I mean it disgusts me that some people thought we were using it :/ Specially since we had DMGs in our hands? Not one DS was being used during the Lo-Tek set at PAX hahaha.

Better drop her from the label. And lgpt isn't an emulator, its a native tracker. AND who the hell pays attention to "generations" anymore? It makes noise through samples through a shitty chipjust like LSDj. Better recognize, bitch. Sorry you think crunchy owns the monopoly on portable trackers, but they're nothing new. I had a friend with lsdj long before everyone here started jumping on the bandwagon; big whoop.
