volume dial solution:


if you look at the pot the volume dial attatches too, you should see some gaps in the stamped casing of it. use the little nozzle/pipe thing of the deoxit bottle(it's like a wd40 stem but thinner) and just blast it in there, then crank the dial back and forth a bunch of times. it'll never bother you again.

stuffs only like $3 a can too. and you can bust it out any time you ever have that scratchy pot problem in your life again. it's bailed me out so many times...

Even though the show was wimpy, everybody's performance was really amazing.

And, more on topic, I'm interested in getting a copy of LSDJ, myself. If I could find a smart cart anywhere I could get it from Dylan... but looking online I can't seem to.

yea no, that actually where i'm getting my transfererII/set of smartcarts/etc.

i forgot to explain that you.

really the only other thing is you can occasionally run across the blank smart carts for cheaper on ebay and other places, and thats what i meant for you to do. but there seems to be a serious shortage of them everywhere in general right now.

are they even being manufactured anymore? i doubt it. i still don't understand why no one made a flash-memory based cart :\

my DMG (the one aaron uses) was only $10! too bad not many video game stores have stuff like that anymore.

There are a few places around here that I'm sure, if they had one, would sell it for pretty little, but because of that they disappear almost instantly.
I could get a Pocket for $11 there, but that alone doesn't do me much good, and I already have one anyway.
I'm thinking eBay might be the way to go.

Some day, when money rains from the sky, I'm going to ship my Gameboys off to him and shell out for every mod he can give them.

can someone who gets it please explain to me in fairly simple terms how to back up your carts in case the batteries in them die? After watching that Sabrepulse Blipfest video i'm a little paranoid!

you need to have the transferer II thing. and then you can just copy the .sav files. nonfinite sells it.

also, ebay is by far the best place to snag dmg's. especially the grey ones. you could easily get one for $5 or so.

mmm maybe the colors or pockets if you're lucky, but original DMG's you won't sell for much below 20. The shipping alone is usually like 7-12 dollars.
