But if I happen to move up to a 3rd GB and a 3rd LSDJ I'll come crawling to YOU Also Tony, after I get the feel for playing in public, I most certainly hope you'll be able to play right by my side:) I want to start a little Tsuji Techno like group in Washington now haha.

Yeah I started LSDJ on a cart I bought from Low-Gain (formely known as Lameboy) and then Firedrill was kind enough to load his version of LSDJ on my cart for me. Since then I've purchased an official LSDJ license and plan on getting a transferer, new cart, and link cable now that I'll have two GBs w/LSDJ. btw is it even possible to succesfully light a Pockets screen? They seem too compact.

Just curious Seth, why would you consider to backlight your clear game boy pocket? Do you plan on playing some shows anytime soon? Because if you just need a light to play in the dark, you can get cheap ones that Nintendo made; it wouldnt be a colorful LED, but it would be a simple light and magnifier that wont affect the colors of your GBC games

How's the sound on those lights? Is it the same set up as the bricks?

How's the sound on those lights? Is it the same set up as the bricks? Unfortunately they don't sound the same. I assume that Lights sound just like Pockets because that's basically what they are. DMGs push out a lot more bass. I'll definitely be using my DMG for recordings..... The Famitsu was just too good to pass up.

aren't there issues with using a pocket/light with lsdj? I remember hearing something about if the batteries got low in the gameboy at all, it would drain the battery in the smart cart super fast.
or at least, that's why i gave up on ever getting a light :\
in more related to the topic news, i will have lsdj very soon. i plan on doing pretty much everything i do from this point forward with lsdj, a home made link>midi sync unit(me and atomic are building two, possibly more), and my laptop for some drums/samples.

nick tell us the deal with your new gameboy! aaron told me it was having some issues!? and are you going to use it live or what? Issues? YES Using it today? YES Love it anyway? HELL YES When my pretty new/used GBLight came in a couple days ago I discovered something wrong that wasn't mentioned by the seller before I bought it. Turns out there's something wrong with the way the volume dial and it's affecting the audio!! When I turn the volume up or down you can hear a fuzzy noise and the right audio channel will cut out unless I press the dial in a certain position and keep it there. I'm thinking that since this thing is a little over ten years old, it may have gathered a bit of dust inside that area that's affected the dials contact with the circuit board. So I need one of those fancy duster can thingys. I'm thinking that will fix the problem. But until then You could say I got royally screwed. However I'm still VERY happy with this new Game Boy I was laying in my bed last night in the dark, peacefully working on a new tune I'll be playing today and tomorrow. The light is so perfect. Basically this GB is all about looks. When it comes to actually producing on it for a long time, it starts to irritate my hands. DMGs are much more comfortable to work with. Also the sound quality that DMGs put out are much better than the high-pitch noise GBLights are constantly spewing. This thing is completely meant for shows and/or producing in the dark.
