By the way Jack, your crunchyco icon is a bunch of circles because I couldnt think of anything else. Is that okay or do you have a different idea? I've been meaning to ask you about that.

listen Jack, im not saying that you WILL make crunchy look bad, but obviously anything is possible. is it probable? no, because we are here to help you out, redo your artwork, give you suggestions, etc. thats what we're doing. i want to see Jack start getting vicious on some other threads!!  I know and I said thank you for all of it. I asked for suggestions and I got them. I was a little disheartened over the negative response to the original cover because I worked really hard on it, only to have it be called "terrible," and such. It was hard not to take it a little personally, but I know when to change things and I know how to take constructive criticism. My friend drew me a new design yesterday, and I'll try to put it up tonight. Not really my style, but maybe that's what this needs? Ha, and I will try my hardest not to be anything close to vicious in any other threads. Aside from feeling like arguing over the internet is pointless, I don't like being mean to people I'm always happy to see in real life! well, it could be a cobra with lazers shooting from his eyes, or it could be a strange zombie thing (like the tshirt)

I don't know though, maybe there is a story behind the snakes and the zombies that has a lot of meaning? I just figured I couldn't go wrong with circles for an artist named Circles. But I'd be happy to make something else if Jack had a more meaningful idea in mind |

Ha yeah the cobra with laser beams coming out of its eyes! It is very much an important part of circles. I want to do that so bad but do you think it might scare people away? It is pretty devastating.

The story behind the conception of the cobra itself is quite long and unusual. As for what it has to do with Circles, I just have a thing where I like to represent my self with ironically vicious symbols and phrases because I think it's funny.
The Cobra Firing Lazer beams has actually been the concept for the cover art of the next full length ever since I can remember. Except the cobra would be photo-realistic, and everything around would be drawn in a much more rough, sharp, angle-ish style akin to those of typical Thrashcore T-Shirt Designs.

Oh, and if I need an official explanation to avoid any further confusion, 8 bits is in reference to how many bits of fury I have. 8. Not my music. That's 4. My fury is 8.

haha alright well i will try to make a snake icon and see how it turns out sometime
by the way jack, i don't think i'll be able to realistically work on your album cover anytime soon. i realized that it could take me another week or so before i actually get around to it. just wanted to let you know now so that you don't have to wait on me in a situation you discussed earlier. if the time comes when i find the time and motivation, and you still need artwork, then that's great, but don't wait up for me cus i wouldn't want to leave you hanging.

oh, and, jack, i was thinking of making a special edition circles felt cobra plush toy, and have it look pretty much the way you've got it in your avatar. i mean, same colors, shape, etc. like, it would just be like a bust of a cobra, too. because, that would be kind of funny. or maybe i have an odd sense of humor? but wouldn't it be sweet if we could embed a laser pointer into it as well so you can shoot real lasers out of its eyes? ;D haha. this seems very off topic, i know, but i don't care.  |
