FORUM FAQ:
----------------
Q: Do I have to register to post?
A: No you don't have to, but if you plan on posting frequently, registering makes it so that you don't have to keep typing in your name and stuff. Also, if you register, you can have your own profile, avatar and signature. You can also choose to be signed in forever, so you won't have to sign in every time.
Q: What do I do if I forget my password?
A: There's a link on the login page. Proboards will be able to send you your password via e-mail.
Q: How do I edit my profile?
A: When you are signed in, there's a link toward the top of the page.
Q: What is a signature?
A: It's a personalized message you can choose to display at the end of all your posts. If gives your posts a unique touch.
Q: What is an avatar?
A: An avatar is a personalized picture that displays on all your posts. Your avatar must be less than 100 x 100 pixels.
Q: What else can I do besides look at the forums and post stuff?
A: You can message other users, you can create polls, you can edit your profile, you can view and add events to the calendar. Lots of stuff.
Q: Can I use HTML?
A: No, not really, but you can use forum tags.
Q: What are forum tags?
A: At the top of the post editor there are buttons for tags. You can use them to post links, images, code, etc.
Q: I messed up my post. Can I edit it?
A: Yes. Yes you can. There should be a button on your post that allows you to edit it.
Q: Why did some of the words in my posts change?
A: Because you must have said something naughty. Most swear words are okay, but some will be changed because either they are innapropriate for the forum, or the administrator just thought it would be funny to replace your words with other words.
Q: What's a moderator?
A: A moderator is a special user who has the job of monitoring a forum or group of forums to make sure everyone is playing nice. They have a little more power than a normal user, as they can delete unworthy posts, lock threads, and other fun stuff. Don't mess with the mods.
Q: How can I become a moderator?
A: Post a lot on the forums. Show that you are competent by following the rules and encouraging others to do so. The administrator might contact you and ask you to be a moderator, or you can contact him and ask.

FORUM RULES:
----------------
The forum rules are the same rules located within CrunchyCo's Terms of Service (www.crunchyco.com/terms.html) and the ProBoards Terms of Service (www.proboards.com/tos.html). In addition to those, there are some special rules that apply to the forums in particular:
1. Respect all other forum members and their input
2. Post in the appropriate sections and threads. For example, don't post about your favorite band in the comics section. If you have something useless and stupid to say, post it in the general discussion forum.
3. Don't post a topic that already has a thread for it. We recommend using the search feature before posting to see if a thread about your topic has already been created.
4. Don't double post. That means don't post the same thread twice, whether in the same forum or in two different forums.
5. Don't bump posts unless you have something to contribute to the conversation.
6. If you register, please only make one account.
7. Don't post ads for anything unless it is in a forum in which posting ads is appropriate (like an ad for an event in the events forum).
8. You may post images, but please keep the dimensions and file size reasonable. Large images take longer to load and may upset users with slower connections.
9. Don't title your threads with big capital letters and exclamation points.
10. Don't post obnoxious garbage just to be annoying.
Forum moderators and administrators may delete your posts if they don't follow the above rules. If you break the rules too much, the administrator may block you from posting altogether.
Basically, don't be a jackass.
