So this is pretty much the best Childrens show on television at the moment. im looking forward to the kind of people this show will help breed. its incredibly hip for a show geared toward little kids. i would almost say that its a show geared toward me, except i know what a square is, and i know what purple looks like, and not to eat food off of the ground. but yeah, i take the time to watch this show every time its on, because they do some cool stuff in it. all the visuals are crazy awesome, and usually incorporate some sort of pixel art. not to mention almost all of the music has some sort of chiptune/8-bit(4-bit? ) accompaniment. its prime material to sample if you ask me. if you have heard the song "we are the tiny ugly germs" then you know what i mean. they, i guess are releasing a soundtrack, which i will most definitely be getting. i mean, one of the characters is even a robot! and i would beat someone up for a boom box like that. :0 Yo Gabba Gabba! official nick jr. websiteDiscuss: ~how awesome this show is ~other awesome kids television ~ the children of tomorrow

ovenrake said that one of the songs on this show reminded him of a kghb song! haha
i don't have television, but i always hear things floating around about this show. after watching some clips online just now, the show does seem a lot more thought out than most kids shows. the artwork and the music appear to be way more sophisticated than usual, and it's all kinda trippy but it's not over the top. i'm no child psychologist, but it seems to me like kids would be a lot better off growing up watching this than a lot of other children's programming out there.
the robot was telling me that it's fun to brush my teeth. he doesn't even have teeth! how would he know!?

Yeah I remember when this show hopped on Nick Jr. "YO GABBA GABBA!!!!!" Pretty sweet music on this show. If only it was around when I was younger...

Haha, there's a clip on that site featuring the Aquabats. How funny. Apparently one of the members co-creates the show.
From wikipedia: "Members of the band also appear in and record voices for the children's program Yo Gabba Gabba!, which Christian Jacobs (The MC Bat Commander) co-created, writes, and directs. The band played a children's version of their song "Pool Party" on the show in the episode titled "Summer.""

This show rocks my world. It keeps me together, and goes well with coffee in the morning. There's been moments where Plex dies for a little bit (or shuts down) and I tear up a little; Much like the ending of the Legend of Lucario movie...
Anyways, I really wish this show was around when I was little. The jams are kickin, and so are the messages. The greatest piece of advice is "Keep your hands to yourself, UNLESS you are giving hugs or high-5's". So many sexual harassment suites could have been avoided if people had some Gabba in their life rather than a 7 ft loser "big bird".

So many sexual harassment suits were probably directly caused by Big Bird and his extremely faggy demeanor.

I know it's a kid show and all, but I can't help but feel like there's like a million moments per episode where the characters statements should be followed up by an emphatic "FUCK YEAH!"

This show is loved at my local high school.
That's most likely a very good thing.

This show is the coolest thing ever. I found it one day searching the channels and try to watch it as often as possible. I saw a video of one of their live shows and DJ Lance Rock was playing the MSTRKRFT remix of D.A.N.C.E, in a picture one of the Aquabats threw a kid into the crowd...so sweet. Those kids are going to turn out great.
