you should really just get some mackie 350s. they're not much bigger than bx8a's, and they're actually designed to be small pa speakers, pretty much for stuff like this. i see people playing at westlake and other popular outdoor spots with them all the time.
i'm pretty sure they cost less than bx8a's too.
but oh well, just an idea if the jbls implode or you just want to keep them for your studio. an they might last, jbl makes great stuff.

Yeah Dylan, I'll probably end up grabbing one of those in the future, I'll be pretty cautious of these $1,000 monitors on the streets, and Jack blowing them.

oh fuck....pulling out the big guns for sabrepulse huh? No, I got these because I can easily see how much of a beating their taking before they blow. They are a tad bit louder than my old monitors though.

I thought the video quality would be better. It's pretty good though. But I'm not sure how you'll have ~10 minutes for every one.

Do you think the episodes will be longer than 10 minutes? Or shorter? I don't think it matters if one episode is 10 minutes and another is 25 minutes. As long as it's somewhat entertaining the whole time.

I figure shorter, unless there's more of just straight live video. You can only interview the same people so often.

I for one never run out of things to say. I'm actually shocked at how long at was. It was fun the whole way through and all, I guess I just expected like 3-5 mins. Pretty in-depth stuff.

yeah video quality just sucks because it was filmed on my shitty camera. starting with lo-tek #6 though, we have some dude who will probably be filming with his really nice camera so that will change.
i didn't think the first episode would be so long either. but that means that if anything, the coming episodes will be longer! the first episode only had one tape of footage. all the rest have two full tapes. i try to keep in just the most interesting/entertaining moments so i guess it just depends on the show. after we exhaust the currently recorded interviews, we'll have to start coming up with some other ideas where each episode will kind of have it's own direction. guess we'll just see what happens!

Yeah I'm not complaining about the length. I guess when you guys say episodes your not kidding.
We should start doing like other weird things in Seattle related to Lo-Tek or like have competitions between the Lo-Tek people or something. Me and Aaron have always argued over which of us is weaker, so I always thought it would be fun to have a weak boy Olympics where we compete in a series of physical challenges to see who is truly weaker!
