OK! SO! Lo-Tek at Sakura-Con was the best. I think it was better than PAX because, well, everyone was walking around in awesome costumes and dancing with us:) Plus, we all had some new tunes to play! I saw a pretty good Cloud Strife, an AMAZING Titus from FFX, some crazy Power Ranger danced with us, some crazy raver danced with us, and I would see a really hot/slutty looking girl about every 10 minutes. GIRUGAMESH!!! Over 200 people took a Lo-Tek card...that surprised me It's too bad I forgot to bring a microphone though.

Aww, sad... I missed the performance at Sakura-Con. (I could've swore the site said it was on Sunday)
Anyways, I'm definitely going to try and catch the next one on 5/22... any details on a location yet?
Keep it up, guys. ;D

Lo-Tek 6 will ft. Sabrepulse, but I'm not sure if I want us to play at Folklife, because I think it's kind of dumb to play outside The Vera when we'll be playing in it the next day. Any good/highly populated areas we can dominate on May 22nd guys?

id probably still say folk life. there's walls of drugged up teenagers who would think you guys were a "total mind fuck".
maybe west lake mall? you might get shut down idk.

Maybe you should play somewhere just outside one of the entrances to folklife so that all the poor folks who aren't going still get to see some performances. There will be a shitload of people walking in and out so you should be good.
I've seen people performing around the westlake center. that would be cool too, but maybe do somewhere near folklife this time and save westlake for the next one.

Lo-Tek Resistance #6 line-up confirmed
May 22nd, on the intersection of Denny Way and Broad Street, Fighter X, Mcfiredrill, Circles, and Sabrepulse will jam their LSDJ tunes for a couple hours. So come out the day before the Vera show and get a chiptune fix!

all the poor folks who aren't going Folklife is free. Is Denny and Broad one of the entrances/areas? It is kinda dumb to have you guys play two days in a row in close proximity but at the same time i mean everyone IS going to just be at Folklife.

It's outside of Folklife. I thought it was $10 to get inside Folklife?

It's outside of Folklife. I thought it was $10 to get inside Folklife? It's technically free; the $10 is just a "suggested donation"... but pretty much everyone that attends pays up.

it really shouldn't be on that corner, NO ONE will be over there. i also dont know anyone who pays to get in to folklife, and they dont even look at you funny if you dont.
just set up near the fountain inside folklife, maybe near the brass whale. you wouldn't be interfering with anyone or near any stages there.
and yea, westlake would work. guys go and set up tents and generators to jam there even. although they might actually have street performance permits, idk. i think those aren't for amplified music though, and these guys very much are.
it's also not dumb to play in that area twice, totally different people will see you each time i guarantee. lots of people who would just run into you guys in the grass would never stumble their inebriated asses over to vera.
