There's no point in chiming in on a CrunchyCo meeting via the internet. It's hard enough to get a word in on those meeting as it is. I mean if you're a realist like Aaron and I.

webcam discussions with a bunch of people sounds like it would be pretty chaotic, especially if the meeting gets as heated as it did last time hahahah. but yeah that last meeting was everyone against me and you sure didnt talk / help me very much NICK!!! being a realist has its ups and downs; sometimes the truth can be quite harsh

isnt there some program that people use for gaming to go into a chatroom with a bunch of people with headsets on? doesnt brandon do that with WOW? would that be easier to set up than webcams? but probably even more chaotic

whether it's a person in the flesh or a person on a webcam/headset, it wouldn't make a difference as far as how heated it gets. it could be chaotic no matter what.
brandon uses Ventrillo i believe.

hmm not really.. the only difference would be that the person's face would be on a computer screen instead of a body. i guess it could be more chaotic if we had a bunch of technical difficulties or something.

im pretty sure its fact that it would be more chaotic because of whatever amount of lag time there is.
it will work. you should be able to hold a meeting in person or in video chat that isnt overly chaotic. this is pretty much why video conferences exist, and what they were made for.

i know a lot of real businesses do stuff like that.
so what kind of video chat service could we use? like aim? msn? can those even do video chat rooms where everyone can see and hear everyone else? i don't know much about this. what's a good and easy program that anyone with a webcam could use to do video chat?

we could do like an online/in person hybrid thing for those who can't make it in person. how does that sound? that sounds awesome. we need like, a big flatscreen television that tiles all the web-connected people across it though, like some united nations type thing. wouldn't be horrible to set up with videoconferencing software if there was a television there either. most laptops have svideo nowadays... or even vga/dvi or more realistically we could just have a shoutcast stream of a mic in the room, and a aim chatroom or IRC channel for those people to reply in. easy to set up with stuff we would all probably have, if not as cool.

we could hook it up to Aaron's 42" plasma! no joke. that'd be wicked.
Do you know of a good video conferencing program Dylan? Evan? Atomic? Seth? Anyone?
