I had this dream like 3 nights ago that was very brief. It was pretty straight forward and all I saw was Obama winning the election with 73% of the votes. Or thats what I assumed. Now If I remember right, certain states are worth a certain amount of points, and whoever has the most points at the end of the election wins. So percentage does not neccesarily mean anything. Maybe it was Obama being 73% out of 100% of points. But the dream was just that information. Obama 73% and it had McCain's name but I do not remember the percentage. I think they are trying to tell me something.

Yea I used to think repub was the way to go but I had a very intense discussion with brandon and Dr. moffit, and I think they converted me. I really hope that Obama wins... But i still like Dino Rossi!
I also need to register to vote, anyone know how?? or where I need to go. Online maybe?

you have to send it in. if can't send in your registration online -- only print of a form, haha. but i think you can pick up a form at the post office and mail it in right there? i just know you have to be registered 30 days before the election, so hurry derek, QUICK! speaking of which, i just got my ballot in the mail. it's sitting right next to me. i should fill it out. and yeah. when i think of the election, i get flashbacks of the documentary JESUS CAMP and it makes me scared for our future. what also makes me scared are people like my sister. i know when i was watching the republican debates last year, my jaw was dropping at some of the things they'd say! i thought, "how could anyone vote for someone like that after what they just said?!" but then my sister REMINDS me how, when she follows up their comments with "amen to that!" sigh. anyway, yeah. i'm crossing my fingers for obama. i wish i could be more active about it? but i just wouldn't know how. but i guess if a discussion with brandon & nick could convert derek, we should just sic 'em on everyone else  heehee |

derek, i always see people at the library registering people to vote. they have forms that you can drop in a big box. i don't know if they are there all the time or what, but they might be.
and lizzy, isn't the presidential election in november? i think the ballot you got is for the snohomish county elections because i got one too.

hell, in downtown seattle they had guys walking the street(i thought they were greenpeace or something at first) asking you if you were a registered voter, and registering you. that's how i got registered.
most of you guys aren't in seattle though.. hmm. it however would not surprise me if they were doing this other places.

i thought they were just being expedient haha. i haven't even opened it! oh, you're right. it says "snohomish county elections" right on the front of it :/ haha okay, then i guess i didn't get my ballot for the presidential election! but why DONT they sent it out this early? it would have taken me that long to finally open it anyway... or, do we get to just go to a fancy machine? because i want a sticker. |
