hahahaha I think if you come up with a total word count combining all of Brandon's post it would add up to around 115.

Alright so I made a Lemonfest page: www.crunchyco.com/events/lemonfest2008.htmlI fixed up my flyer a little bit. I'll also probably make some smaller banners pretty soon here too. For those of you who have made or are making flyers there's a few band name fixes: I thought Sirens Sister had an apostrophe but I guess it doesn't. Also, Benjamin Clocks should be The Benjamin Clocks. If you update or change your flyer just repost it here so I can re-upload it to the lemonfest page. Anyway, I am sending out the info and the link to all the bands.

AAALLLRIGHT, I guess now's as good a time as any to post this:
* Blue Screen of Death is delayed again. It will not be coming out on the 25th. and... * Kids Get Hit by Buses will not be playing Lemonfest '08.
I already changed it on my flyer if anyone noticed. Others who made flyers should make the adjustment to theirs and re-post it here.
I don't really want to go off into some lengthy and apologetic explanation so here's the basics of it all:
> In order for BSOD to be the highest quality and the best that it can possibly be within our capabilities, there's no way it will be done by the 25th. Same reason as it was delayed before basically. We've decided to stop trying to set a release date for it, and it will just be released whenever it is finished.
> As for dropping out of Lemonfest, to put it simply, KGHB is just not going to be 100% ready. The delay of BSOD is not the only reason; we just decided that we'd rather not play another show until we're completely ready with our performance and fully confident that we'll be putting on the best show we possibly can. We'd rather play a few amazing shows than several mediocre ones.
Kinda sucky, but that's the way it is. Lemonfest will surely be an awesome event without us, and the BSOD delays will all be worth it in the end. Hope everyone understands.
Any questions? comments? complaints?

gah. there wouldn't happen to be any other confirmed bands and changes i should put on my flyer while im at it is there? because its going to start to look kinda void of content if i have to make the list that much smaller. its a pretty big bummer that you guys decided not to play. at least for me and my chaps. i think you attract more of an audience than you realize. every time i bring you guys up everyone is like "i hear they play a really good live set!" and im all like "Yeah you guys should go see them sometime >>" and then they are like "when should i do that?" and im all like "lemonfest!". i mean, last years lemonfest was the first time i saw you guys live, and KGHB was the only reason me and my friends came all the way out there. we had never even heard of any of the other bands. well, in the end its your choice, but i think you should play. who knows, maybe some group of kids will show up just to see you and then become loyal fans

lemme get back to you on the flyer. there might be other changes. i'll post them as soon as i know. and it will be soon.
and yeah, at any show there's always the chance that some people who haven't heard us before would hear us and continue to be fans, the only problem is that if our goal is to introduce our music to more fans, lemonfest is probably not the show to do it. we know we could easily play the show and pull it off unprepared like we always do, and it would still be great fun, but if there really are a bunch of new people to perform for, we would rather give them a better impression than that. we love that you guys are always supporting us, and we're always happy to play shows for you, even if you're the only ones there, but at the same time we think it's unfair that we keep selfishly playing shows just to play shows and forcing you to see the same old thing over and over again. The next time we play a show, we want to give it 100%, for our biggest fans, and for anyone else who hasn't seen us before.

Well in that case I shouldn't play Lemonfest either. no. you definitely should play. and Jack too. lemonfest is still supposed to be a crunchyco event and we need you guys there to represent us. it's not just lemonfest we're dropping out of; we've decided not to do ANY shows until we're ready to. that shouldn't have an effect on whether or not you play it.
