Great. I'll make sure to bring my bottle of piss shield for this festival. Who actually hated you guys so much that they went through the trouble of peeing in a bottle just to throw it at you? Did they like have it ready at the beginning of the day, just going, "all right, if I hear one shitty band, JUST ONE..."? There's a good chance Siren's Sister WILL flake, but if you want to heighten your chances, don't tell them Grassfest is free and they're not getting paid. Otherwise you stand no chance. World History is super cool though! Again, I could ask a few more electronic bands if you guys would be interested. A sweet line-up nonetheless! Behold the Rolling Thunder is going to dominate.

Alright Nick, we won't force you to play Grassfest ya big jerk. Here's the updated list of confirmed bands: [X] Everyone's Hypocrite [X] The Get [X] KGHB [X] Circles [X] World History [X] Behold, the Rolling Thunder [X] Substandard [X] Lerin and Tyler [X] Icarus has Fallen [X] Invisible Giants and thanks for the ideas Jack, but I think Circles and KGHB are about as electronic as this shows going to get. Nick is right about Grassfest's infamous genre clash that tears the audience apart. Fighter X is perhaps a little bit "too electronic" to fit in with the current line-up. Anything more than what we have now and we'll have to get the piss shields ready. And yeah, Behold the Rolling Thunder is the best line-up choice BeB and Moffitt have made so far.

No one should be offended when I say I'm not very happy or excited to see Solar Opposites and Icarus Has Fallen play at Grassfest. They are good at what they do, and its not that im saying they suck or that i do not respect them, its just that my humble opinion is that once more bands agree to join the line-up, those are the first two i would like to see go, thats all. DO NOT LISTEN TO NICK, i still think a KGHB / Fighter X dance party block would be not only perfect for later in the night, but quite possibly could make a fantastic headlining grand finale!!! Not only is Fighter X's merch is going to be on sale at Grassfest and will probably outsell everything else, but there are going to be legions of sad 16 year olds if Fighter X doesnt play! I mean, they already were greatly disappointed last year, come on Nick, its the least you can do to make up for not showing up at Grassfest 2007!!

It's definitely up to Nick if he wants to play. If Fighter X does play, he'll easily bring the most fans to Grassfest than any of the other bands on that list. An electronic block would definitely be the most exciting part of Grassfest by far now that we'll have a good sound set up.
And yes, Solar Opposites and Icarus Has Fallen are very talented and I do respect them as musicians, but I do agree with Aaron that they would be the first to drop from the list.

Is there any way Leeni could or would play? She'd definitely help bridge a gap between instrument artists and electronic artists. I mean, a similar way KGHB does, but more so if she plays any guitar songs.

That's not a bad idea. I don't know why I didn't think of that in the first place. What'da think Brandon?

I know Brandon and Nick Moffit think Grassfest is their little event now, but i really think they should not only respect our opinions, but what do they expect by not involving us? Brandon, you need to remember this is a CrunchyCo event that we started, although we put you two in charge of setting it up, if we are not happy with your guys's end result, we do have the right to ask you to not use the name "Grassfest" and ask to have it in no way related to CrunchyCo. And even more importantly, we are the ones supplying the PA; I just think we are more important than you give us credit for. The generic marysville rock bands were the backup plan for if we could not find a good enough PA, but now that we have it, it makes perfect sense to add CrunchyCo artists on the lineup over other bands that me and Gabe do not even care for. My opinion is the set list should go something like this: (going from beginning of the show to the end) 01. Lerin and Tyler 02. World History 03. Substandard 04. Dillon Warnek? (TBA) 05. Everyones Hypocrite or The Get 06. Invisible Giants 07. Behold the Rolling Thunder 08. The Get or Everyone Hypocrite 09. Circles 10. Leeni 11. KGHB 12. Fighter X I would like to see other people post their ideal set list and an explanation

I say we turn the rest of this thread into a campaign to get Fighter X to play! If all else fails, we can just tie him to a chair and duct-tape his Gameboy to his hand.
