I remember posting on forums. Forums were places that a few friends would make to talk to each other over the internet about a certain subject, then the subject would gain popularity, and a bunch of jerk-off strangers would come on out of nowhere and be mean to everyone, then people would get in silly pointless internet fights with no winner because its the internet so no one would ever back down. Then Myspace came along and kind of destroyed most forums by presenting the same functions and opportunities, but on top of that, providing the ability to boost your feeble self-confidence by having the same total strangers that are jerks to you on message boards tell you how pretty you are in your default picture.
But Forums will always have one thing Myspace will never have: SPELLING YOUR NAME WITH BANDS!
